Using the service

By using Proton VPN services, you agree to these Service terms and fair use. These terms govern your use of the Proton VPN applications, websites, and services operated by Proton AG.

Responsible network use

You may use Proton VPN for lawful purposes only. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to: illegal activity, distributing malware, spamming, copyright infringement, and attempting to interfere with other users or systems.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed at the frequency selected at checkout. You authorize Proton to charge your payment method for the subscription period. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

Refund period

Proton VPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers on paid plans. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of initial purchase.

Service limitations

Proton AG's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
